Skins

I just watched my first episode of the TV show Skins. It was alright. It's got promise. But some of the things the kids did were a little far fetched or unlikely but...it was okay I have an able imagination :P

I should be looking for places where I can volunteer but I'm being lazy and I'm getting tired. I need to find one by Monday though. Eh....I'll do it tomorrow. Or Sunday.

I'm listening to Nine Inch Nails The Downward Spiral and I have to admit that I didn't really like the album at first but it's really grown on me. The Becoming is totally awesome. And it's kinda creepy and weird. But I absolutely love the song because of that :)

Apparently it's going to take me 58 minutes by bus to get to the college. Yikes! Won't that be fun every morning? Umm.....Not sure how I feel about that. My program starts at 9am (Assuming I get in, which I should). So, that means getting up at at least 7 am or so. Oooo.....not liking that. lol. I hate early or even normal mornings.

Aside from that I just hope that I: a) get to the interview thing at the college On Time and b) Get to the college period. lol.

Live And Let Live.

Which Skins?

Season 3, that's currently airing? Or the old one? I liked the first two seasons...

It is a dramatic show, so it's supposed to be far fetched and unlikely. That's the point of having a show, heh.

My fave version of the Becoming is the acoustic version Trent put out on Still.

Yeah, the new one. The 3rd

Yeah, the new one. The 3rd season. I've decided to start there because of a certain storyline I've heard happens :P

You've listened to NIN music? I'm shocked! I would've never thought that you would. Anyways back to the meaning of this reply. The Becoming is an awesome song but I haven't heard the acoustic version. I've only heard the version with the creepy screams in the background. Hehe. I'm definitely gonna have to try and get my hands on the acoustic version.

Listen?

Let's see... I think I saw like 6 shows of NIN on Downward Spiral tour, since I was supposed to interview Trent for OUT Magazine, but that was back in his cocaine days, so as was usually the case then, he flaked and never did the interview. As a result, I did get to hang out a lot with Marilyn Manson, who was opening for him on that tour. I interviewed Manson twice, and used to be pretty familiar with him during that time.

I'd say I've seen NIN live 12-15 times?

Lucky! That sounds awesome

Lucky! That sounds awesome expect for him not showing up to do the actual interview. And you interviewed Marilyn Manson, that's awesome. I like some of his songs and covers but I haven't got too far into his music just yet.

I wish I could say the same that I've seen a ton of live shows. But I just started to get into NIN in the last few months so I haven't been to a show yet....But hopefully someday with a girl that shares my musical tastes :)
