RESOURCES TAB UPDATED WITH RUNAWAY HELPLINES

Hi guys!

I have just updated the RESOURCES tab with some helplines for runaways. I will be adding more, but I wanted to get these first ones posted asap so Mark and anyone else who might be checking back will have the info.

Suggestions for this tab are always welcome.

Convanant House...

was started by a priest and I'm assuming (cuz I've never looked into it) is still maintained by one...I wouldn't trust that it would be GLBT friendly then...that's just MY thoughts...I have no facts or experiences to back that up with...

Yes it was, but...

To my knowledge, Covenant House isn't interested in the sexual orientation of the kids they help, and doesn't turn anyone away because of it. They simply provide services for runaways in need (which, I guess, is a redundant term). If anyone has any actual evidence to contradict that, please let me know. The mere fact that an organization was founded by a religious organization, however, doesn't automatically make it anathema to GLBT people.
