Wow I haven't been on here in way too long. I skipped back to the last journal I read and it was around twenty-one pages ago... Scary. Things need to be said.

As I have mentioned in previous journal entries my career goal is to be a kickass cardiothoracic surgeon. It was the only thing I ever wanted to be and I have never had any other idea of something I would be happy with. Lately I've gotten to thinking about a fallback career because I really need one. At first I thought maybe a music teacher, because music is really fun and I'm quite good at playing instruments. This is perfectly attainable, but I would be completely miserable. I never want to be a teacher. Ever. Then I thought how about a nurse? Also perfectly attainable. But that would be settling, in a way. Can't be what I want in the medical field so I settle for less. (Note: I'm not giving up the surgeon dream). So the other day I was watching Ellen and Serena Williams was on when it hit me. PROFESSIONAL TENNIS PLAYER. There you go. My fallback career is a professional tennis player. I am insane.

I feel like I have a lot more to say but I don't know what it is...
