Hi, y'all, howya doin?!

Arthur's picture

Haven't been around in a while. School's been out for winter, now it's on for winter intersession. I don't have classes, but I thought I'd swing through and make sure you don't forget about me. :D

A while back Haddie met a woman at the Scholastic Books warehouse where she was volunteering. This lady, Gina, is an ordained minister, she's the choir director, she majored in creative writing, she's pro-gay (for lack of a better term) or at the very least anti-nimrod, she has an awesome sense of humor----the list goes on. We snatched up the first possible opportunity and went to one of the Choir practices. As soon as I got in the car, she lay down the law: I only have to go by Arthur at this church. I got the initial impression that to refuse would not be wise. Or as comfortable. Even if there is just one place I can be Arthur, it helps.

We happened to be there for the dress rehearsal just before their Christmas performance. On one side of the far end of the church, there was a wreath to the left side. Ever OCD, we asked if another wreath was going to be on the other side, to which Gina replied brightly, "No, that's where we're putting our rainbow flag!"

I think both Haddie and myself now wish to marry this woman.

Kidding. But she did say that whenever we get around to the whole marriage bit, she would help us.

(Here's where I can't think of any lame sentence to pull everything together. I was never really satisfied with my conclusive statement.......) "When life gives you lemons..."????? "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth."????? "Two legs good, four legs bad."???????????

Other than that, there isn't really much to say. Work sucks. Pay sucks. My baby niece is doing fine. Mom's still mom. Still haven't told Gwen to take her life and shove it... Life is...life. Horrible, great, heartbreaking, stupendous, painful, glorious, unfair, awesome, confusing, wonderful life. Add words as needed.

Love to all. Take care!
