I always always have nice short nails. I don't mind long nails on other people but I don't like them on me.

between playing violin,
between playing violin, cello and now guitar (haven't played the violin in years, but not the point), keeping my nails short is just habit. like, really short. like, there's nothing there, short. :D i like it that way. i usually don't like long nails on other people, with certain exceptions, of course.

I play violin, but I wish I could play cello and guitar too. (Every violinist secretly wants to play cello.)
I used to keep my thumbnails long, for, um, self-defense, but then I got tired of them and now they're short too.

I keep mine short to play piano, but I love long nails and fingers on other girls. Also, my fingers are really short, so I like getting the nails as long as I can to make my fingers look longer. :P
