The sun rises, each morning at dawn
she raises her rosy lips to kiss the world
with warmth and light and hope
yes hope of another day beginning

every morsal of food i eat, i eat to norish you
every wonder i see, i see to share with you

every sunset i see, is for you
every wave crashing on the shore, is for you
the moon and every star in the sky, i dedicate to you
because my world rises and sets on your smile

so every breath i take, i breathe for you
every book i read, i read to tell you of
every song i hear, i will play for you
and every star i wish upon, i wish for you
