So...I was in a car accident...and my poor beautiful car Lucille is totalled. The airbags deployed and my liscence plate was scraped off...and it actually wasn't my fault. I was going through an intersection at a green light and the other driver made a left turn right in front of me while I was already IN the intersection. So she got a ticket and some minor damage on both sides. From where she hit me and to where she hit another car after impact...I had two people in the car with me and we are very lucky that it wasn"t really bad. My car is dead, but it runs and the insurance is paying for everything. My insurance will pay and then her insurance will pay. Shelby was in the passenger seat. That stupid woman driving the other car could have killed my fiance. I find out how much my car is suppposedly worth on Monday.
So I went to the chiropractor yesterday and took x-rays and then got adjusted today and now I have to go 3 times a week and go to massage therapy 2 times a week for a month. Which might sound fun, but might not be from what I've heard. But we are allok, just sore and bruised and out of spinal alignment.
I feel so bad for my car. It was a '96 blue corolla but she was mine and pretty and *sigh* I cry when I drive by the autoshop that she is parked at...Tomorrow she goes to a parts shop to be dissasembled and then it's off to who knows where. The accident is probably the scariest thing that has ever happened to me...I can't drive on that street anymore....I was on the way to work...*sigh*
Okies...time to watch The Wizard of OZ with my lady. :]
