My solipsistic burble for the day.

I just finished watching L.A. Confidential and, good god, it was good. Now I'll be on "yowzah" mode for the rest of today even though I've got work in less than an hour. Bud White was my favorite. He broke the back of a chair with his bare hands during a particularly intense interrogation in the film. I wish I could do that. I've always wanted to be a body guard of some sort. I really wouldn't mind being dumb muscle, but I'm only 5'5"1/2, so it's never gonna happen.

I get jealous of some men for their physical strength. It's weird. Why? Because they're able to protect their loved ones better than most chicks can. That's my motive. I want to protect my woman. Keep her safe from all the creeps, the leering wolves. I'd deck 'em for even glancing. But I'm barely 5'6. I can't bench press much at all, and I can't chop wood or anything as impressive. I'm a big dyke for wanting to.

I must learn how. I have to. But I will never resort to juicing, because that's the vain coward's method, so no need to worry about that if any of you have such concerns. I'm stronger most girls already. I've been told so several times by coaches and my family. But I have to be stronger still. I'm won't get there sitting at this computer now, will I?
I'm off to make that happen. See ya.

I feel you. and I'm worse

I feel you. and I'm worse off, I'm only 165cm...about 5'4", if you please. Funny how a few inches make a world of difference, no?

You ever heard of this..."prison workout"? It's like loads of consecutive burpies. And I figure if I can't protect a girlfriend from a bunch of thugs, I should at least be able to pick her up and run away real quick!

yeah i am also 5'4

and i'm not butch or masculine or dykey at all...
i'm girly and pretty, but i still like feeling strong.
that's why i do exercise, mainly swimming laps a few times a week. like, you can see i have muscles in my arms (little muscles... but they're there).
and anyways, you don't have to be tall or ultra-buff to do martial-arts/self-defense (or defend someone else), you just have to be agile and have quick reflexes and muscles that respond fast.

I'm 5'5 or 5'6. I do martial

I'm 5'5 or 5'6. I do martial arts! It's a good one ;D I'm not huge, but definitely not weak! You learn to exert the most power/speed possible, given the body you have. //You just learn how to use/and control your body in general really. Oh, and uhm, hurt people... I mean defend yourself!! ;D
