Remeber those emergency broadcast system thingies? I think my way is more realistic. Being we have no TV connected, we have no idea if they are still doing those. Are they?

I haven't seen one of those in a REALLY long time — not that I've had time to watch much TV — but I wouldn't be surprised if they still exist.
Good point though: it's a funny thing to put on TV if the emergency causes a power outage. Seems like radio at least is more likely to be battery-powered!
