Im trying to write a book. its about a girl who grows up in a place without responcibility or restrictions. you can even commit murder and then she has to go into what is more like the real world. she escapes with a boy. they get married. a guy desides he likes her then he kills her husband and marries her. then she runs off with a rebel. then she gets shot.
im having a hard time working on it. i just can't seem to get writing. so im sitting here eating frosting. im thinging about making it a short story but i think thats its too much too much to shove into a short story. any ideas on the story line? who thinks it needs work?

That's a really interesting

That's a really interesting premise.

Why does she have to go into the real world? And when you say she escapes...she escapes back to where she started? Or to another place entirely?

Hmm...

The secret to writing is setting that time aside to write and refuse to do anything else. I used to require 2000 words a day, and I could do it in 2 hours, or 11... but I didn't do anything else but sit at my computer and stare until I had 2000 words.

Writing is like the gym, there is always something better you could be doing. But neither will yield results if you wait for inspiration.

Just some questions

Interesting ideas, but just curious about some details

How can there be a place without restrictions or limitations?
Why did she have to go into the 'real' world?
Why would she marry someone that killed her husband?

Like neutrina said, the concepts are good - but it's just that I'm having a hard time connecting the dots it's hard to give suggestions.
