RESPONSIBILITY EQUALS A TYPE OF SLAVERY

Morgan's picture

But with freedom, one needs to be responsible. This is about like what is the sound of one hand clapping?!

I think I got a headache.

Okay, wait...

...I don't think responsibility is necessarily a part of freedom. There are plenty of irresponsible free people out there.

Unless of course you mean criminally irresponsible, in which case...

I guess the difference between slavery and freedom as presented in north american-style democracy is that being a slave means being instructed to do something, and freedom (with or without doubt-indicating quotation marks, I haven't decided yet) you're instructed not to do something. What's acceptable is generally determined by the majority.

But, if that means your actions are more or less governed by another group of people, whether you agree with them or not, which basically means...

Now I have a headache too.

Technically, you can never

Technically, you can never stop being responsible. The moment you make a decision, whether it's breathing, or marrying someone, you're going to have to face the consequences whether you want them or not.
