I am tired of my Gap look, but I want to look effortless beautiful when I am at home. I want to look professional when I need to be. I also want to inject ethnicity and culture into these looks.
If you don't understand I'm rambling about watch Queen Latifah's Last Holiday and look at flight attendant uniforms http://uniformfreak.com/index2a.html. I know I am a guy, what more can be international than cargo pants, t-shirts, and business suit. I don't think these are International enough, they are pretty Euro-Americo Centric to me.
I already carry Macbook, Palm Centro and iPod. These are American enough.

Well, there are always
Well, there are always kilts. ;)
Warning: the following is not an expert's opinion, but rather the opinion of someone who has had the fortunate experience of *living* in Western Europe as well as the USA. (Anyone with more detailed questions about my life story and what that means, feel free to message me, but be prepared for a LOT)
Ethnicity and culture in clothing, as I see them, are the different ways that people respond to their available materials and skills and their climate, etc. These things were more unique before the modern, global culture emerged. However, if you're looking for comfort and a professional look, you have a very interesting idea in flight attendant attire......:)
However, I think the most important thing (from a girl's point of view...;) is finding the right accessories. And you can get stuff from REALLY cool places that jazzes up your look (necklaces for guys too, bracelets, pins, whatever dorky stuff you want as well, if you're a dork like me) Shoes are also good. Different styles help you stand out and look less "typical American"
:)
