Hey gang! It's definitely been a few moons since I last wrote. Just a lack of drama, I guess. But anywizzay, I'm doing hokay. School is in full swing, and I'm the proud owner of a 5.0 GPA. Homework is pretty much my boyfriend now! And whilst I'm on the subject, I don't know if you guys recall, but in my last post I mentioned such a boy of the friend variety. Well, that didn't last long! Basically we had one glorious month of complete summer lovin' bliss, but then he went to college and had neither time nor love for moi. So it goes.

There's a new lad on the horizon now. One that's actually in high school, at that. I really like him! And I have for about a month now. I think he likes me, too, but he hasn't given me any definite signs as of yet. He's thrown me a fair share of eye-sex, as well as a few flirty comments here and there, yet he hasn't initiated any direct flirtation, such as physical contact or overtly risque comments. 'Tis highly possible this is due to that little tiny section on his facebook that says, "Interested in: women." I'm not absolutely positive that he's queer gear, since he hasn't told me/banged me, but I'm fairly convinced that he is. My gay-dar is screaming bloody Mary. The thing that has tipped me off the most is that his favorite band is freaking Earth Wind and Fire. Come on! That band is gayer than I am! I think I get just a little bit gayer every time I hear one of their songs, which is seldom, since all of them are so gay it hurts.

After a month of trying to flirt with this kid, I'm getting kind of tired of getting nowhere. I've been waiting for him to make his feelings pretty obvious before I ask him out, but I don't think I can wait for that to happen. If I want to get things done, by George, I should get things done! Since he's not out of the closet, I don't want to scare him off, but I don't want to go crazy, either. So I be athinking that I'm going to tell him that I like him the next time we hang out, which will probably be in a little over a week. Any commentary/advice, kiddos? Am I doing the right thing, or should I choose an alternate route?
