Yes, I've given up on titles that are both interesting a relevant to the journal entry. It's one or the other. Unless it's a really interesting journal entry. ^^

Anyway, things I've done today:
-decided that i lack the energy to write a proper journal entry on oasis after doing it in my notebook already (or to hit the shift key), and chose to write this in list-y.
-yesterday, presented my creative project in english. That big 7:25 composition for The Odyssey. apparently it went really well, everyone loved it. i'm really happy.
-had my school tell me that spirit day was moved to the spring. -.- and their last-minute fill-in day of spirit week is "dress up/dress down" day--teachers dress real casual, students dress up
-aaaaaaand, today was NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY!!!!
-wore a dress shirt and tie for the first time, and carried my flag from NYC Pride (sans stick) in my pocket
-had no one show up for buffy club, so hung out with two awesome people i normally don't see, and my english teacher, and talked about his kids and gayness and watch him try to make a "support" rainbow ribbon stay behind his glasses. ^^
-had a fire drill in the middle of lunch
-ate seaweed salad with my fingers, spill said seaweed salad in my jazz chorus room
-misspelled "seaweed salad" a few hundred times just now
-did really well in chorus. this makes me happy. i wrote here about the freaky piece in two different keys... well, we recited rhythms and i aced them and kept my whole section on track. and then we sang it, and i outsang my entire section, except for maybe our most experienced female tenor, and i was as good if not better than hir. i'm so so so so happy ^^ SQUEE.
-gotten slightly snarky comment from girl/guy/genderfuck i sorta like. ah well.
-taking the idea from said genderfuck (sadly, i didnt get to see hir do it), walk into my hallway, come out, and then leave. xD (yeah, as if anyone didn't know)
-contemplated calling friend who asked me to experiment last time i saw her. wondering if i'd follow through.
-went home in the rain for the first time in ages, got thoroughly soaked, thoroughly enjoyed myself. splashed in puddles. felt like a little kid again
-felt comfortable with my appearance
-said "happy coming out day!" to a random family on the street.
so, all in all, it's been a good day.
