Not being happy about your sexuality or happy about 'who you are' isn't a crime when you're young. I don't think it's a crime until you're dead.
But it's an especially stupid reason to hate yourself while you're still working out who you are and you haven't had a chance to test yourself against the world.
How can you expect to love the person you are when you've never been given the chance to see what person can do? It's like hating your house for having no roof when you've just laid the foundations.
If you really want then you can hate being gay. It's a waste of energy, but it's more sensible than where you are now.
You'll go into the world, achieve things- whatever those things might be: family, career, relationships or just kindness- and you won't need to try to be happy with who you are, because you'll just be happy... if you want to be.
If we were totally satisfied with who we were, we'd never make any progress! Really, though, accepting your own sexuality just comes with time. It's something you fight against until one day you realize your fighting yourself. It's not something that you can just do-- you won't just go "I'm gay" and have it be easy. But if it was easy, everyone would be queer!
Be yourself. 'Cause if you're busy being somebody else, who's gonna be you?

I wish I could, too. Not to myself-I'm fine with being gay-but I wish I could talk about it.
