Hmm my cousin just called me up to ask if I want to do something/hang out with her tomorrow, since my mom is going to pick her up tomorrow evening to spend the weekend with us and my mom is now going to do things in Toronto for the majority of the day anyway...
I'm debating staying home and studying for a test on Monday (I never study but this course has marks that actually matter for me!) even though that'd just take a few hours maximum...
Or going to Toronto, getting her to leave me somewhere (like Indigo - a bookstore, think Barnes and Noble) and then going to the gay district. It sounds incredibly stupid for a lot of reasons (well actually, I'll probably be safe in broad daylight amongst gay people if I encountered any...) but it seems like a prime opportunity for me to finally go see the area and maybe meet a gay teen AS a gay teen. My Loveleboy may have kissed me, but I still want to have a bit more of a deep, face-to-face conversation with a guy or girl who I know as non-straight and who knows I'm not either!
Plus, I've never even seen much of the area and the next best opportunity for me to do so would be over the summer! I'm also likely going out of province for university, so the sparkling gem that is Toronto may continue to be elusive for my gay eyes for many years until I get my Bachelor's. Ok, ok; that's probably untrue too... but I want some *exposure*!
If I don't go, I'll be home alone and pretty bored aside from the exciting studying (sarcasm) but if I go and get stuck with my cousin, I might want to harm myself anyway. Advice? If I got to be parent/guardian-free in Toronto for a few hours, what could I really do? Even if I don't go, it would be good to hear from any Torontonians on what would be a gay-oriented real excursion for me.
And if you're not Canadian then consider the urban gay centre in your country and imagine the chance to spend a few hours there on your OWN but still with money and a cell phone and knowing where your relatives were at within the city anyway. What would YOU do?
It would be fun to visit MuchMusic but UGH, I want something literally gay to do (and not a person I don't know, sicko) that makes the day purposeful for me! If I don't claim to want to explore books for hours on my own, what's another good diversion? Be creative for me and I'll be back in a few hours to read your suggestions!
Yes I included please and thanks.

Alas,
I just watched some of Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and got pretty freaked for a bit, also watched some of Talented Mr. Ripley so that was better but after some more consideration I'll be passing on T-dot gaytowne for tomorrow!
You're Amazing.
