In recent discussion with bulldyke, we talked about what accents we liked. so, i was just wondering, given that we're from different parts of the country (not to mention the world) i was wondering, what accent turns you on?

uhhh....i don't really have
uhhh....i don't really have an accent, which is surprising to most people considering i live in the south. i mean, i occasionally slip into a southern accent, but most of the time, i'm pretty neutral.

everyone has an accent. if
everyone has an accent. if you don't think you have one, you've probably just got an american accent. like me, i have a californian accent, with a little bit of east coast to confuse everyone, but to me, i don't sound like i have any accent. cept when i'm trying to mangle spanish, but that's another thing entirely.

I like accents, but man, at a club with loud dance music playing, it certainly doesn't help much, even with my musician's earplugs helping.

As lost_in_wonderland knows, I'm a sucker for a good *European* Spanish accent. I also like a Northern British accent. Um, Arabic is so hot...and now that I think about it, I could get into a really good New York accent as well.

I really like boys with
I really like boys with Scottish accents. Which is strange, seeing as I don't like boys. In general, though, I love a southern drawl (they're so cute!), and anything European. I have a very light east coast sort of accent... I mean, I don't pronounce water 'whuuter' or anything, but you can probably tell I'm from the Philly area.
Whatever I did, I didn't do it.

You'd think that as a Texan, I'd have Texan accent, but I talk basically the same way most Americans do. However, my friends recently noted that whenever I get excited or nervous, I sometimes slip in a single, somewhat Southern sounding word. (Whee! Alliteration.)
I like the American accent,
I like the American accent, I don't know how to distinguish between state to state, but I suppose the New York one is the one I like. I love the French language (not necessarily the accent when they speak English though). I also think the most intelligent-sounding argument-winning accent goes to the British every time.

I adore British accents, especially Kiera Knightley's: sort of clipped and drawling. And Irish, German, and New England.
There's also this girl I know with an unfathomable, amazing accent. She was raised in Jamaica, then Newfoundland.

Some forms of the British accent can make even the dirtiest of words seem agreeable. It's wonderful.

So long as we understand each other, no accents really turn me on. I'm pretty good at pretending to have an accent if need be, so nothing is really new to me. I kind of have a canadian accent, which is weird because I live in the south, eh?

im sorry but british and scottish arent different things... scotland is part of britain. im assuming people think english accents are the only "british" ones.
personally i LOOVEEE welsh accents but irish are also great (my gf is irish)
