Ow! I had my wisdom teeth removed last week (all four), and now the giant holes get food stuck in them (eww...), I can't eat popcorn (crap!), and they hurt and tingle at the same time (umm... okay?). Does anyone else wish to share experiences related to oral surgery, maxillofacial surgery, or dentistry to comfort me?

yucky...
yeah... about a month and a half ago i had my two lower wisdom teeth removed.. thank god i only had two....
it hurt like a bitch... the first two days were okay actually but days three and four were anything but comfortable... one of the days was so bad in fact that i slept for like 20 hours....
and for two weeks i had a HUGE nasty yellow bruise on the side of my face... gross!
feel better!
Once I had to get teeth
Once I had to get teeth taken out (baby teeth that didn't fall out) and the dentist gave me the needle and al that. God, it was so scary. He hads to like yanmk on it. And twist. I heard it ripping out. but it didn't hurt. Fuck! God, that was gross...
Courage is contagious... be strong, and soon you won't be standing alone.
I had the same thing done
I had the same thing done last August! They had to cut in and get them out, so I too had the gnarly holes. Not only that, I was swollen as all hell and dopy because of the vicodin to kill pain. A really cute experience. Not to mention I couldn't brush my teeth for 3 days. And also, that weekend I went to my friends suprise birthday party and wanted to eat a hotdog really bad and it took me a half hour to eat the damn thing. I basically had to chew with my front teeth solely.
I know!
I'm a slow eater in the first place... now it takes me a freakin' hour to eat supper! But I went in for a check up the other day, and they said everything looked great. So, for the next few weeks, I'll be squirting water into my GIANT holes... with a mouth syringe thingy... and then pizza will come out... lovely images...
Would you make someone promise not to love?
