I'm an FTM and I am looking if I can meet any Winnipeg Teenage Transsexuals (FTM or MTF or anything else) just to be friends, as I have no TG friends at all, which sucks. If anyone wants to chat email email@example.com okay?
That's a pretty narrow request for a global site, don't get your hopes up...
Be better off making TG friends from all around the world on here... that we have.

Yah, I know it's pretty unlikley that I will get a response from a winnipeg teen, but what's the harm in trying, eh?
I'm not from Winnipeg, but I'm a trans teenager looking for friends. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I shock you darling?

Well where do you live??

If you want to meet people on Oasis, your best bet is to write up a journal entry about your life. People will read it, comment on it. You read theirs, comment on it, etc. They won't all be trans. But support is support, and that's how the community here tends to work. People who log on and post their e-mail address straightaway aren't joining the community that exists here, which is entirely your choice. But you'd have a lot more comments if you wrote a journal entry about who you are, what you've gone through so far, and what it's like being a trans teen in Winnipeg.
In the SF Bay Area.
hey, i'm ftm...also always looking for trans friends.
email me: email@example.com
FtM as well, here, but not from Winnipeg. PM me if you'd like, I promise I don't bite. :)
Just a trend I've noticed, and not just in this thread, it's come up before. We always get people saying there aren't as many trans people on the site as they want, and whenever new trans people do show up, it is always e-mail me here, pm me if you want to talk...
So, I guess my message is... be the change you want to see in the world. Start journaling on here, people will comment, pm you, start chatting online and offline with you, etc. Seems backward to expect people that don't know you to just start e-mailing, no?
I get a LOT of pm's here from people who troll the site but never post, so on some level, you also help them when you start writing about your life, giving them strength to follow suit at a later date based inpart on what you write on here.
If you are not getting confirmation e-mails from Oasis to complete your membership, don't hesitate to e-mail jeff at oasismag dot com. Be sure to include your username.
