Holy fuck. Her parents are SO incredibly..... OH. MY. GOD. So, my best friend wanted to do DoS today. Just a week or so ago, her parents totally busted her; found out where she was going after school, that she had a boyfriend, that stuff. And yesterday she said she was doing DoS. They had a bad reaction, and she stood up to them. And today, she finally said after hinting at it for the past few months, that she was bi, and... Well, her father hit her. Which he apparently does a lot as a disciplinary action, so that's not the big thing. Here's the big thing: they want to take her out of our school. Like, immediately. AUGHEKDAFJAODIFMAKMDFLAG THEY ARE SO FUCKING RIDICULOUS AND THEY CANNOT TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME!!!! i'm serious, though, she's my best friend, for fuck's sake. and they're all like, "oh, it's an open environment where she can be herself. we can't have that, now can we?" i will be so lost without her. i swear. its not like i dont have other friends, but a best friend is different. she's the person i go to first, she's the person i have absolutely no reservations about sobbing into her shoulder, she's the person i can talk to about absolutely anything. plus, i'm head over heels for her, STILL. and, just.... argh. ARG. i CANNOT lose her!!! the selfish part of me just wants her to tell her parents that she made it all up, and to be really obedient so they'll let her stay at school. ARGH!!!!

OMG, her dad's an ass! I'm so sorry about this. I hope something good happens that'll turn it all around.

oh dear..
I'm sorry to hear about your friend.
But although her parents sound like utter shits, wait until they've camled down and then see if they actually follow through on their threat to take her out of school. Although they don't sound like reasonable people, taking her out of school and finding a new school for her is not something that they can do overnight. She might convince or they might convince themselves that there are more sensible approaches than disrupting her entire life.
And (tacky as it sounds) even at different schools you'd still be best friends. If she is made to leave school she'll need you more than ever. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Yeah. Distance doesn't kill
Yeah. Distance doesn't kill true friendship. I moved away in 5th grade and now a senior in high school I'm still as great as ever with my best friend back at my hometown.

Damn. That seriously sucks.
Damn. That seriously sucks. Hopefully things will blow over--her parents' will probably, as mentioned above, calm down. Taking her out of school honestly doesn't seem like the logical thing to do because a.) it makes more work for everyone involved and b.) it doesn't stop her from meeting people.
Hope all goes well...
FUCK...
...that sounds awful. I honestly don't know what to say, so... *hugs* Best of luck to your friend and you, and like the people above said, maybe her parents won't follow up on their threat.
I agree that her dad is an ass.

damn
Fuck those parents. No joke, dude, they need to loosen up for christ's sake. I'm sorry for your near loss and I'm hoping for your favor. Pray they don't take her out of school. That's crap.
That dad's a prick and needs
That dad's a prick and needs to be told to take the cucumber out of his ass.
...On another note, I'm sorry that happened. I hope they don't take her out of school. Things might still just, you know, calm down, so don't freak yet...
