Day of Silence Preparations

Toph's picture

Well, tomorrow will be the first Day of Silence ever at my high school. I'm so nervous, excited, scared, and happy, all at the same time. Oh gosh, we're supposed to have a class discussion tomorrow, but I sent out letters to all the teachers explaining to them what is happening. But, what if they still won't allow it? I talked to the principal and he said we could do it.....AH!

Anyway.....

I hope it everything goes well. Oh gosh, wish me luck. I understand some of you are very against this, but I feel this is an important step at my conservative school.

Kudos to you for working

Kudos to you for working this hard--I don't personally believe in it, but any awareness is better than no awareness. Good luck to you and hopefully all will go smoothly!

Good luck...

You should be proud of all the hard work you've put into making this happen at your school.

Good Luck! I helped my GSA

Good Luck! I helped my GSA with this and we got about 65 students out of about 400 in our school to stay silent. It was great!

The only constant is change.
