when it came out i had to watch it and then when my friend bought the dvd..i borrowed it and watched it whenever i could (couldn't watch it when my auntie them were home 'cause they homophobes)

OH GOD RENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE RENT! It is my favorite movie/musical. I missed it the first time i came to Detroit but then the movie came out and i saw it in theatres 3 times. Then just recently about 2 weeks ago i came back to Detroit and i saw it. I LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!! I would strongly suggest to those who haven't seen it live to go see it live it's an amazing experience so even if you get nose bleed seats it's worth it.

I totally love RENT. Actually, the person I had a crush on back in middle school introduced me to it. :) And then I found out that she was, in fact, straight.

i personally dont like it. maybe im like, the only gay in america that doest, but w/e hahaha. i have nothing against the story line, its good and all, but i hate musicals, and just overall think the movies kidna stupid.

Well....um....whats rent? lol are you kidding? I LOVE RENT!!!! I first heard of it when i was 10 and then i saw the movie and just about died of joy. So to answer plainly yes of course i like rent and im pretty sure tons of people do also. Except my sister. Grr. =D

i love rent!!! it is amazing, and i think i know the soundtrack by heart! it is just an absolutely astounding movie and im really upset that i missed the original cast on broadway -- not my fault, i think i was pretty much just a toddler at the time...but anyway, im definitely one of the ones guilty for a rent signature...

i am thoroughly and wholeheartedly against the movie. i mean i did see it 3 times opening weekend, and we do own the movie. but, the stage performance and original music are sooooo much more powerful than that stupid movie could ever be.

Oh, I just love that movie!
Oh, I just love that movie! I actually heard the soundtrack first before seeing the movie because my older brother listened to it all the time in the car. When I finally got to see the movie I was like, "Oh my gosh! There's gay people in this!" Apparently, I don't hear much talk about movies. Anyway, I own the soundtrack now and I love it! I had a crush on Joanne for the longest time (still do, but not as strongly) and I sometimes watch Without A Trace (think that's the show) just to see her :D
