It's exciting to see this website is still strong and providing an amazing resource for queer and questioning teens. This was an essential part of my coming out process and it's great that so many others are using it as well.
Much has happened since my last update. Currintly I'm a Junior Computer Science major at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Most significantly, I'm now Greek Council President. This is an amazing accomplishment and really says a lot about the climate at IIT, and especially the Greek community here. There are three other openly gay men in my chapter, and at least two others in the rest of the Greek community, and we continue to be some of the most involved members of our community.
Another large part of what I've been up to has still been swimming. I've qualified all three years I've swam to go to the NAIA National Swimming Championship. The swim team here is an amazing group of people and have become some of my best friends here.
Even more exciting, my little brother in the fraternity is now heading up the Gays, Lesbians, and More! Student Organization. He's doing amazing, and has set up a Pride Week in April, where GLAM! will be hosting Liam Sullivan, of Kelly Shoes fame to M.C. our Night of Noise. He's really gotten the organization to take off and it's going to be awesome.
So there's the fabulous life of an Oasismag veteran. I wish you all the best of luck, and I've got the RSS feed on my Google Reader now so I may be around a bit more.

Johnny G.
