Hey everyone,

We're about to get more ads on Oasis and one of the fields we need to fill in on the place where people will be able to place ads onto Oasis is testimonials from people on the site, which is you.

So, mainly just need to know why you like Oasis, what you get out of the site, that sort of stuff. Also great if you put your age.

The better we are on message (positive place, safe, supportive), the more attractive the site becomes to the right sort of advertisers. Basically, do we want ads from gay authors of young adult books... or random website ads, etc. That's the kind of thing these testimonials will help determine.

Our goal is to have far fewer ads than a lot of other sites, but make them more of a premium commodity. Basically, create a demand and then we can charge more for them.

That way I can keep dedicating my time to creating content for the site and such, and we're just getting started along those lines.

And, FYI, the plan is to steer the ads away from personals sites and porn-y things. I will restrict any ads that go against the principles of this site, and feel free to let me know when you think I'm not doing a good enough job there.
