Cold, PS2, and heartbreak

Toph's picture

I haven't posted for some time now, but I haven't been up to much. I survived the whole Christmas break without getting sick, which is a huge feat for me because I'm an easy target for sickness. Well, it got me the first day of school. It's not an average, "oh, I'm coughing with a runny nose" cold. It's the "I'm coughing flem and can hardly breath, please, please let me stay home from school because I can't walk two feet without feeling light headed from lack of breath!" cold. Being asthmatic isn't the greatest thing, especially when you're sick.

The up-side is I get to stay home playing PS2. I got Final Fantasy XII, so I've spent hours in front of the PS2 coughing my lungs out. Joy.

Sadly, my dear Charles Jr. (see last journal entry for pics) will no longer be with us. Mom said he needs to go because he's not yet potty trained. And Mom believes he's not helping my asthma. Sadness.

Anyway, boring journal entry. By the way, I'm really excited about the "Gay Like Me" writing project. I hope it doesn't fall through. Hopefully, it will help someone and make a positive impact :D

Coincidence

What a coincidence! I was also fine the whole Christmas vacation, then I just got the flu last Friday. It's the same "I'm coughing phlem and can hardly breath, please let me stay home from school because I can't walk two feet without feeling light headed from lack of breath!" cold you described, lol. I've been watching movies for the past 4 days, and I think I've watched very movie in existence. Maybe I should play World of Warcraft...

Anyway, get better now, because being sick isn't fun.
