your heartfelt feelings make me feel better. I do have contact with the girl but feel it is now better off left alone....one conselation is that we named the boy, she now has to rename it and it will cost her 300 dollars to do that.
Also She had nothing for the baby at all, no crib, no clothes, no food etc. So she must shell out a lot of money now and she doesnt have it... I feel so sorry for the baby who fortunately wont remember it as he grows older.
We did give her some clothes for Derik, and some formula as well as two bottles. She is on her own for the rest. We just could not leave "Him" suffer for her stupidity...
Again thanks for your thoughts and words.
You are as always a group of good friends who are there when we need each other.

oh god my heart really goes out to you , im soo sorry :(
Crazy...
It still seems like that's very late in the process for her to change her mind. Seems like there would be a "no turning back" point before the kid's coming out of her.

I'm a total myspace whore (and by whore, I mean I use it to sleep with people, I'm not on it often), so ADD ME AS A FRIEND
you would think so
But Colorado Law allows for the mother to change her mind up to 6week after the child is born! She did it in 3 days. Every thing was done, paper work wise...court hearing was schedualed for 6weeks after the birth. Lawyer did his part well...We paid just over $4500. for his work...no money back there....We have tried to adopt for over 13 years...infact we got the law changed in Nebr, and not in the good way! Seems we had gone to all the state required classes for 6 months...and on graduation day (as they called it) the head of the foster adopt dept was there to give out the certificates. She would not even shake our hand when we were called up to the stage to get ours. The next day, literally, the law was changed by her. It now read that "No person, who is a foster parent, or foster adopt parent, may reside with another person of the same, or opposite sex, out of wedlock" That little change eliminated over 50% of the foster homes in the state. The state was really scrambeling to find homes for all the kids that suddenly had none.
We even had a friend who had to marry her live in boyfriend, just to keep her adopted child as the law affected her even though she adopted 4 years earlier. She divorced him 3 weeks later as they both really didnt want to get married to each other...funny huh?
Shit happens... and we pooped the most I guess.
Thanks for your thoughts and keep up the good work here on Oasis.
Oldfoxbob.
Genius is not a sign of intelligence, but rather
that of common sense.
I know I just commented that other entry but
I am sorry once again.
I don't understand how she was so easily swayed.
Sorry
I'm sorry again. That's all I can say
"Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suf-fer-ing"
Much love to ya. O' course
Much love to ya. O' course we're always here for ya!
Y'know what would be funny (not funny, but ironic, at least.)? If the baby boy grew up and was gay. Sorry, Mommy, you just can't escape it!
Be yourself. Because if you're busy being someone else, then who's gonna be you?
That adds to my belief god
That adds to my belief god either doesn't exist, or he's an asshole. And not the good kind.
Im so sorry. My Heart really
