Personally, I think when you die, you die...I mean think about it, people are natural life forms right? I think your theory sounds a little bit like bhudism, where you are re-incarnated into a different life.

U definitely get reincarnated... I've had people tell me that I know to much about the Greeks and WW2 to have been here only 1ce so it only makes sense to go on into a different life

With my head, I don't really believe that people live on as conscious beings after they die. However, my spiritual view of the world is that people are connected through webs of energy, that the air is full of spirit-waves and not just sound or light ones. Everyone's inner nature affects and influences everyone else's and I think this happens on a gut level, not just a physical or lighter emotional one.

When my friend was so sick he could have died, we came up with this lovely little athiest intellectual proof:

1. Life is change.
2. People affect each other's lives through ripples of change.
3. After you die, those ripples continue, but they change with the people that remember them.
4. Because memories of you/your influence are changing, your essence is changing, and thus you are still alive, at least in the most basic of ways.

either heaven, ie being able to do whatever you like-be reborn or go sit on a cloud somewhere with a harp or whatever you fancy, having passed the test which this life is...or hell, where you failed the test and either you failed so miserably that you dont get another chance and wander forever in oblivion with no one to talk to but your fellowed damned who arent that talkative, or you get another shot at the test which is this relatively unpreditable earth we currently inhabit.

Nothing. I think everything just stops and that's it. No more. Not exactly the most optimistic veiw in the world. In fact, at times, I hate it. (Actually, I often hate it.) But I don't think I could bring myself to belive anything else at this point.

I think, humans are just really complicated machines, which are made up of tons of smaller machines that work together. (And these machines are made up of even smaller machines. Heh.) And when the machines stop then that's it. But. That's just my veiw on the subject.

I think that after death everyone and everything for that person kinda stops,and holds for a moment then they are expelled from their body and reincarnated spiritually and put into a different time,place,and being to continue life with only memories of there past life! I don't know...all I know is that I have been a saint so far.Death isn't something we should fear,we should welcome it,that doesn't mean go run in front of a car mind you,it just means its a part of life,or at least thats what my sociology teacher says!

i'm just trying to get this life....i don't wanna have to think about the next. to be honest, i really don't think about what happens in the afterlife. the most i know is that we die...that's it...

I don't believe in heaven or hell and I don't want to believe that there's nothing after we die. So, I'd have to say that our soul becomes one with nature or we get reborn. Would make sense, don't you think? I believe in NDE and memories from past lives, so that gives me some hope.

Though, I've found the thought that there's nothing after death can be quite motivating for me to do all the things I want but I'm afraid to. I mean, think about it: when will I get another chance to?
