whos knows what and FTM is and who would date one? i'm just curious. most people are really closed to FTMs. i'm looking for some people who are open to me (I'm and FTM)

I've only met one person who has come out as not their biological gender (kind of intersexed at the moment), but I'm not sure that I'm a girl and I certainly am not closed to dating anyone, provided I'm attracted to them. FTMs are definitely on my list. :)

One of my bestfriends is a FT
One of my bestfriends is a FTM, before the transition I had a raging crush on him, but I would still be willing to date him if I was to suddenly like guys. One of my psychologists said that I have a leaning towards a masculine mind set, so if I ever wanted to go through the transition she would sign the okay. But it is so fucking fun to hang out with him, my mom doesn't recognize him, so she is convince that he is secretly my "boyfriend" So it leads to an amusing chase with my dad and his gun and my friend. But it's hard for him, he has to come up with so many stories to make up for his past, he went to nothing but All-girl Schools.

FTM means "Female to Male" transexual.
Some one who was a female has taken on the persona
and physical being of a male. (sometimes mistaken for a drag king.

I've actually been attracted to a ftm before they went through transition. I was weireded out (cuz I thought they were a girl) but then they were like "I'm FTM" and I'm like "OH, that explains it."
I know several transgender individuals and I find that they are just as cool to hang with as non-transgender individuals.

I'm in love with an FTM (who's also my best friend and in love with me) right now. He's also kind of genderqueer, and I love how he doesn't all fit into one box. I have to take him as himself, I can't look at him through the lens of one gender, or if I do, I'm really aware of it. We talk about gender all the time. He's a real eye-opener and a GREAT mental exercise, not to mention one of the most beautiful people I've ever met. We met through our church-- we're Quakers.

I'm also an FTM, and I would date another FTM. I always think it would be easier to date another trans person, because they understand you, can relate to your pain, and it makes it less stressfull about the whole "ashamed of my body" type subject, because they have either been there, or are there. ^^
Tis a complex issue for me
I could be emotionally attracted to an FTM, but I con't think I could deal with physical attraction. That would be like dating a guy, which is icky.

I would totally date an FTM. Or an MTF. Or anyone, really, provided I like them, and they can have an intelligent conversation. Oh, and as long as they don't smell funny. :P

So the sex may or may not be "hetero style," but if you are dating an FTM, you should keep in mind that you are entering a heterosexual relationship.

If one goes through with all the surgery, a kind of penis can be created, either out of the clitoris or flesh from another part of the body, depending on the procedure. However, this is expensive and dangerous. Not all FTMs go through with 'bottom' surgery, although some do. It all depends on the individual.

No, it wouldn't be like dating both sexes at once. An FTM is a guy. If you wanted to be dating a girl, then there'd be automatic problems in the relationship. You could date a genderqueer, and that could be more like dating both sexes at once, though it depends on how ze identifies.

I'm an FTM, and yeah, dating is hard. I mean, I have friends who would date them, and in fact Kathy is right now. Have you ever met a gay FTM, though? Or a guy who would date one?
