So The Long Beach Pride festival is this weekend, and I really want to go but
1. My sister doesn't have any money and can't take me
and
2. My parents don't exactly know about me.
This sucks I want to go. Just to see what it's like. And to flirt with girls my age that will flirt back. I hate going to a school where the only people who are out to anybody are boys. :(
But today pretty much all the conversations I had involved something gay. It was weird. Someone different would always bring it up. It was kinda cool. Strange, but cool.
Maybe I can convince my sister that she should spend her money to go to the festival. Sure, I be out about 20 bucks, but I think that it would probably be worth it.

cant go?
Why? You are 17 old enough to take the city
bus which will take you by the place. YOu do
have a city bus system dont you? Ok Dont know which
bus to take? call the transit system and ask them
they will tell you l what bus to take from where
you live to X street where you transfer to the next
bus to take you to Y st where you walk to the fest.,
It only costs a couple of dollars to get there.
Mom and dad will put out $10 bucks for some thing you
want to do right? Just dont tell them its pride if
you are not out to them. Do you know any ione in school
who is gay and out? Get them to go with you by simply
asking them. It usually works that way better.
Now you know how to go. Remeber not to spend all your
money at pride as you need to get back home by bus
too.
enjoy the fest as I know it will be fun.
old fox bob
you are loved.
I guess he means where there'
I guess he means where there's a will, there's a way. :) I agree, but I know it's risky if you're not supposed to be going. I hope you make it there however (possibly via your sister). It sounds awesome. And if you don't go, make it a goal for next year and it can be something to look forward to! You're lucky they have pride festivals where you live. I wish we did here...
Get there
Scrounge, be friendly amd get there. And have fun girl
