I am an indie fanatic, and for some reason I always seem to like what is lumped into the slowcore genre.

Well... The SLow Poisoner, who is a SF based musician who used to front the Slow Poisoners, is awesome. I like my own too, I call my genre 'indie folk rock opera'

ska is like...the mighty migh
ska is like...the mighty mighty bosstones...they use trumpets in there music. There more upbeat. It's pretty good.
Ska is a fusion of brass and
Ska is a fusion of brass and rock. and saxophones... and sometimes other instruments too. A good band that was really indie, but then caught on is Streetlight Manifesto. Its a really great genre... pursue it.
