Minium Vote Time

Adrain this sounds stupid, but my past 2 polls that i've tried to do have been over taken by the same "person" if you can call someone who does that human, anyways can you put in some code so that polls will up but a certain amount of time before they can get booted off

I would also like to see the people who are serial-pollers show some restraint in how often they propose new questions. Before there is something written in the coding of Drupal, I'd like the pollsters to keep their count down to once every week or twice every week.

Another possible idea, instead of having a time limit, is to have a polling page where past and present polls are displayed for voting and viewing.

if you click older polls you

if you click older polls you can still see and vote in previous polls which dont have a time limit (ie. not those which have closed)i just dont think it gets used much. i agree though, theres no point doing a poll if someones gooing to change it before its even got enough votes to give a fair idea of the response. show some consideration if olls dont have many votes or havent been up for long.

+ if i cant be a good example ill just have to be a horrible warning +

there is such a page

oasismag.com/poll .. or perhaps /polls

Originally polls were moderated. Meaning people would submit polls, they'd go to a moderationq queue, but me or jeff would have to vote on them.

Of course the problem was there was lots of times when we just didn't have the time, hence the poll took stayed the same.

My plan is to have oasismag.com just have one, or two polls a month, but that any user can post polls to his personal blog at any time, and then users can vote on the best poll.

It'll be that way eventually, but for now I think the automatic poll updating has worked the best.

I can add the polls link to the header though.
