:( It's still pretty brave what you're doing, and hopefully you can tell her soon and she'll keep her promise. But that sucks she doesn't seem to get it-you think it'd be obvious. Maybe she does and is just not saying. Even my mom (who's incredibally liberal) said she had to go through her own process accepting I'm gay. So, at least you're easing her into it. Hopefully you can tell her when you go back to see her.
