I ended up reading some of her other stuff. I disagree with most of it, but all of her blogs are hilarious, particularly the ST columns. Thank you for introducing me!
I agree with what's said above. My mother was married to a homosexual male (her best friend) who attempted to "be straight" and hide his true self. In the end he was abusive and tried to kill her by throwing her off a twenty story hotel building. Not being who you are is more dangerous than being yourself.
