I'm intrigued to find out what happens, and it seems like an accurate portrayal of public school life (hell, it reminds me of mine). The only thing I would change is the first paragraph-I feel like the second is a much better first paragraph.
Anyways, I'm eager to see more:)

Thanks for your feed back. That is exactly what I'm trying to do; accurately portray life in high school. In fact, I've modelled Stanley's life much like my own. I've been working on this book for half a year, and just recently finished chapter 9. I'll be posting the second half of chapter 1 shortly.
