The article is reasonably long so I don't want to take up too much space posting it here. It's a must read and I like how Time Magazine always comments on things with unbiasedness.
"The Time Magazine did an excellent job pointing out that for many of us, being gay isn't about bars and parties-it's about life, in all its many variations"
Enjoy
I love how Time covered both
I love how Time covered both sides so it couldn't be accused of being "gay propaganda".
Umm...
I think they did that because they are, um, journalists?
Eh?
Doesn't the job description for a mainstream journalist stipulate a heavy leaning towards the publication's mandated stance? ;-)
'Covered both sides'?
The only gay teens that they quoted were desperately trying to brainwash themselves into being straight. Except for mentioning the Point Foundation and the Advocate's 'Summer Sex Issue', they focused virtually exclusively on the most extreme factions of heterosexist religion. In addition, they promulgated the lie that contemporary high schools are havens of tolerance. They're not- a fact to which everyone here can testify. How is that 'both sides'?

Am I the only one who hasn't seen a 'postgay' identity emerge?
The article presented the gay liberation movement as dead and American high schools as absolutely free from bigotry. We all know that's a lie.
Also, they didn't even mention the many religious groups who aren't trying to turn us striaght.
