Hey everyone! I'm going to be amassing a list of coming out stories, tips, tricks, etc (basically anything that relates to coming out in today's society, wherever you may live). It's a tough thing to do and new Oasians are always asking how to go about it so I think it would be great if there were a page on Oasis for such a topic, but we're lacking in it right now. And in order for it to be great, I need all the help I can get.



Therefore, I ask that you send to oasisout at gmail daught com your coming out stories, coming out tips and tricks, website addresses of helpful places, or anything that helped you or would have helped you come out. Please make sure there is punctuation, correct spelling, and is easy to read. Your coming out stories can relate to how you came out to your friends, your family, or even yourself. They can even relate to your religion. Feel free to send me anything that you feel would help others come out. I will even accept links to previous coming out journals that you have published here before, I'll just need your help to exhume them from the archives.



If you send me something, please include:

• your name (or the name you would like me to use, can be as simple as your Oasis username),
• your Oasis username (if you would mind having other Oasis members private message you about your story),
• your age,
• your sex,
• and where you live (or the region you live in).

This will help sort out geographical and cultural bias as well as give the perusers of the coming out page a chance to relate. I won't publish any of your email addresses unless you explicitly tell me to. If you're nervous about sending me an email at the above address, you can always private message me or OasisOut and send it that way, though I prefer gmail.
