Today I was at church, about to enter a planning meeting for a possible GSA at this church. I was expecting that a new priest was coming to help, but I just didn't know from where. Well I was going into the closet were me and a few of the others were going to meet (Kind of ironic, meeting in a closet to start a GSA). So as I was just about to go in I saw the new priest, he was creepy, but still out of curiousity I asked him where he came from and what order he was. He is an Opus Dei priest from the Vatican. OH CRAP!!! After he told me and I immediately went into the closet to tell the others. So yeah most of these kids who want to help me start the GSA are either Lesbians, Gays, Bisexual girls, straight kids with gay parents, or straight allies. They were all there, so I told them, most either panicked or laughed. I personally panicked because he is an Opus Dei, there is no way in heaven that an Opus Dei would allow that at his church. I mean those Opus Dei's want to undo Vatican II. I mean he was pissed when he found that we only had female alterserver, lectors, and eucharistic ministers; but what can we do the men are lazy in our church. So soon after we had a heated discussion on whether we should go on with our plan or not. We had to go to mass. So we came out of the closet (Literally) and bumped into the new priest. He had the death stare on us already. So as far as I can tell he was glaring at us through the whole mass. So I am going to do one thing and one thing only, I am going to go on with the GSA, but I am just going to have to find out as much as possible about this guy in order to figure out a way to get rid of him. I mean you can't have a GSA youth group with an Opus Dei...so it looks like I am going to cause a little hell in God's house. Cheer us on please.
