Anti-gay activists who stood up to be counted are counted
Farhad sez, "Two activists in Massachusetts are planning to create an online database of all the 65,825 people who signed a recent petition calling for a ballot question to ban gay marriages in the state. The activists say that the online list -- which will include the names, street addresses, hometowns and ZIP codes of all the homophobes who signed -- will help gay people to determine if their friends and neighbors are secretly bigots."

Is this a good thing?

As much as I dislike anti-gay activists, I'm not sure that I'm at all comfortable with a tool that "exposes" these people to possible/implied attacks (verbal, physical, or otherwise).

How would you feel if there was a tool that allowed people to see who in their neighbourhood was gay?

I know it's not quite the same, but it seems to me that this is a bit low.

Well I have heard of people m

Well I have heard of people manipulating this site and gay.com into finding LBGT people and harrasing them.

I love Integra Wingates Hellsing!...Heh I am so sad, I am in love with a fictional character. Wait I can lie to my self, I have been doing that for the past 16 years.

I think

I am sure I agree I am not comfortable with that
it would be like o.k. I gave you all this know you
are going to turn around and use it to make
sure people know who they are. To me it doesn't
matter soon enough they will let it be know we don't
need a list to tell us

Don't worry you're just as sane as I am
