A Poem By Andre Inkblot

I wrote this about a straight girl I have a crush on.

Song For One Unnamed

Your hand brushes against mine
And in that instant our eyes entwine
Yours so dark they pierce my being
And mine so pale, looking, seeing
All that which my heart desires
With all the flame of endless fires
I strive to tell you with my gaze
That I have spent my nights and days
Longing for your slightest touch
I dare, I fear, I hope to much
I spend eternity in the night
Hoping you could make life right
Hoping you could comfort me
With your eyes, all that I see
With your voice, a gentle song
I've been waiting for so long
To find someone like you
Now I don't know what I should do
Should I tell you all I've said?
Should I keep it all inside my head?
I don't know anything at all
Except exactly how to fall
Flat on my face
Following a futile chase
