Hi kids,

I thought I'd post and let you all know about the crazy, fun and debaucherous (at times) activites that I've been up to lately. From family to meeting Adrian to productive things to sex, I think I've got it all covered this week. Read on....

I've got a family reunion coming up this weekend, and I'm excited/nervous about the whole thing. I mean, there will be people there that I haven't seen since I was in elementary school, and it'll be weird trying to establish a relationship with them again. I'm also bringing my partner/boyfriend, so that'll be kinda strange, too. I mean let's face it: here's a family of Mexicans, and I'm bringing one of the only white people to the party (a very pale one at that). In my opinion, Caucasian people have learned to deal with the whole interracial dating thing a little better than Hispanics. Plus, throw in that we'll be "The Gays," it's a recipe for strangeness. Mom has assured me that it's not going to be a big deal, so let's hope she's right. Meh.

It looks like I've got a church gig lined up for a week from this Sunday. I'm playing at a new church I've never played at before, and I think it'll be lots of fun. It's a smaller Episcopal church, and I've been told that they'll love what we'll be playing. I've gotta practice though, because the church music director selected the hardest song in my library for the Postlude. Oh well, it's money in my pocket. :)

My partner and I went apartment hunting yesterday, which turned out to be very productive, even though we didn't find anything we liked. We made a few contacts, and we narrowed down where we want to live but more importantly, where we DON'T want to live. I suspect we'll be searching a little more next week. We don't have to move out of the place we're in now, but we kinda would like to move out on our own.

The other night, we went out with one of my partner's co-workers. He's a very attractive young man who hasn't quite yet figured out if he's gay or not. Translated, that means that he hasn't found someone to mess around with, but he's more-than-curious about how it's like to be fucked by a boy. So that night, he found out how it was like to be fucked by two boys. And a good time was had by all! :-D

And last but not least: certainly I should mention is that while Adrian was here visiting, I had a chance to meet up with he and some of his like-minded computer people. We met up after work one night--Adrian had just finished a long day of work-related things (a conference I believe), and I met up with him at a local Irish pub.

I met the group of friends/associates he was with, and we travelled en mass to a bar that I'd actually never have been in (imagine that!). We got a chance to talk about Oasis, ourselves, and all sorts of other things. Of course, I think one of the most entertaining things of the night was Adrian's very hot (and very tipsy) friend. I'll just say this: drunk people can be rather amusing (as he was), but I'm glad we didn't get shot by the big guy in the van. ;)

After the bar, we went off to a late-night diner and had two of Adrian's friends join us for food, drink, and conversation. There, in a more intimate setting, we were able to talk a bit more about Oasis and ourselves, but I also got a chance to REALLY appreciate how much keeping this site going and growing is a very selfless labor of love. I've always been thankful for all that Jeff and Adrian have done for the site, but I think being able to talk to one of them in person really helped give me a much clearer perspective of all they both do/have done. It's really rather touching.

After our late-night adventures, we both had to get going, so we parted ways. By the way Adrian, I couldn't hail a cab to save my life, so I ended up walking back to my car. I owe you US$5. ;) It was a neat experience meeting someone from the site, and I would highly recommend it to those who are able to in a safe environment.

One more thing: I know enough about computers to get myself in and out of trouble, and that's about it. Talking with Adrian and his associates really opened my eyes to how much of a genius he really is. They even told me that they very much respect what he's done and what he's capable of doing. Cheers to that!

That's all for me for now, kids. I've gotta work sometime today. Bleh. But Momma's got some bills to pay, so she needs to money. As always, you kids behave and be nice, so you don't turn out like me.
