Did I come on too strong
Did I come on too weak
Did I say something offensive
Do you know the state I am in?
Checking my inbox
3, 4, 5, 6 times a day
And as the number increases
So does my stress
And so I waste away on the couch
Consoling myself on lame sitcoms
And Conan O'Brian.
And as I write this
Bleary-eyed in front of this glaring screen
I am again mocked by the computer
As it laughs
--NO NEW MESSAGES--
And I scream at it
"LIAR!!!"
