"why hide", devyn said angerly to herself as she pushed the heavy, wooden door open with ease. everything looked the same as it had since she was 10 and had moved in when her father hit it big. her father now owned the biggest company in the world. Her father a tall, dark man had always had dreams of hitting it big. he had soft black hair that was starting to grey at the sides. he had gained wrinkles through stress of buisness but still look very rugged. he was a very lean man, yet his cheeks still looked like he stuffed 4 very large grapes into them. it was an amazing idea to devyn how her father ended up with a women like her mother. her mother was short, never surpassing the 4'11 mark she hit in 8th grade. she was warped with many curves. she had long, long blonde hair that had never shown one gray. she wore skimpy clothing, while her father wore suits and sweaters. their meating one night was nothing but a fleeting moment of lust, yet lead to the worst mistake of their lives. devyn. her father married her mom and soon they were learning to take care of a child they were never ready to have. devyn threw her keys onto the clear glass table. sure they had given her tons of money, a brand new car, and they never wanted to know where she was, but devyn was never a kid that wanted those things. she worked hard in school and in everyhting else she did hoping to get their attention some how and never did. she quit trying years ago. devyn survyed the fridge, and pulled out a coke from the bottom shelf. as the hiss of the carbination quited, she took a long solid drink and felt it burn and sting down her throat. she loved that feeling of pure pain with the aftertaste of something so sweet. after she drainded her drink devyn threw it await and climbed the stairs to the third floor where her room was. as she stood silently looking at her room she realized that with all the money she had her room was only furnished with a bed and several work out machines. "pathetic" she said to herself as she walked over and fell onto her bed.. she wasnt content with what she had. she wanted more. not neccesarly materalist things, but non-tangible thing. time, love, passion everyhting she was deprived of. she silently cried herself to slep thrinking of the life she lead.
"i think not," hope's mother said as she giggled gingerly. she turned to her father who had put his hand over his mouth to keep from laughing out loud. hope sighed and turned to go back into the dressing room. in the little cramped space hope look sadly at herself in the mirror. she looked so diffrent from the parents she loved. her parents were tall with brown dark hazelnut eyes. they had long flourishing black raven like hair and perfect skin. her parents were a couple that turned eyes of every gender. they loved each other mad. hope on the other hand was always thought to be adopted. she had flaming red hair with dark freckles that spotted her skin. she always thought she looked like a missed coloured dalmation. she was very pale, and had light green eyes, that shown out from behind her hair. the skin type had luckly been passed down. she never had a blemish anywhere on her face. she was plain and she knew it. while her parents were outgoing and exciting, hope was timid and shy to let her feeling go. hope turned her attentuion back to the new clothes that were hung neatly on hangers. she only would get one new outfit, because although exstremly beautiful on the outside her parents were equally beautiful on the inside. they both devoted there lives to helping kids who were abused and mistreated. that never paid them good money. frustrated, she picked the red top with a pair of hip hugger blue jeans and walked out of the dressing room. "finally" her dad commented as he smiled. he always complained when he had to go shopping with his wife and daughter, although they both knew he loved evey minute of it. her father, a strongly built man, sweeped hope into his arms. she hugged back strongly. "lets get home and get you to bed. you have the first day of a new school tommorrow." hopes mother commented as they headed to their small volvo. "cant wait" hope said sarcastically with an eye roll witch her parents hated.
chapter two: welcome to school
bandberry high school was a huge campus which sat on 100 acres of green feilds. a picturesque photo to an upcoming hopeful student. to the regular student it was an old mishapen building where they push for 4 years to leave it, and weep when it's over. as devyn parked who 2005 mustang a group of underclassmen hundled around it to look, not at the car, but the girl inside. "and we start again" devyn wispered as she opened her eyes and pulled the handle to open her door. she was flooded with questions of her life and she made it to the place where she was. they looked up at her for some time altering, insperational quote. "you got me" she said as she shrugged her shoulders. she quikly shuffled pass them and into the large glass doors. as she glided down the hall, all heads stopped and turned. even the teachers stopped their conversations and watched her walk unknowingly down the hall. devyn russell was awed by all her saw her. she, of course, had no idea people thought of these things when she walked by. she just wanted to get to the court yard. she took a big, long breath of the clear, crisp colorado air. "dev" qiuckly devyn opened her eyes to see jackson mills call to her and wave her over. he was a tall broad shoulder boy who leads the football team in touchdowns. he was fawned over by most of the girls in the school, but never batted an eye. he wanted one girl. devyn. everone wanted devyn. "thanks. nothing new" of copurse it was new, yet this was his game of flirting. "devyn!" devyn turned just to be pushed to the ground by her best frein emily who had tackled her. "i missed you!" she yelled in devyns ear as she ferosciously hugged her. "i missed you to" devyn laughed and tickled emily. emily, a short, plump girl, had an amazing sense of self that always drew her to devyn. although she never fit in the "in" group she was always allowed without complaint because of her connection to devyn. emily pulled her up and took her arm and pulled her toward the side of the bench where they all hung out. "so, tell me all about your new finding" emily said with a smirk.
"Hope clarke, right?" hope turned to see a tall, gangly girl with glasses. "yes" hope said quietly. "im gretchen, im supposse to show you around here." her smile revealed white shiny teeth behind big, bulky braces. as she lead hope down the giant hall in bandberry, she learned of the history of the fabulous structre. built in 1824, by an educater it was the largest, prettiest, most private, public school in the country. gretchen took 15 minutes to show all of hopes classes then sugessted to go look in the court yard. a cold blast of air hit hope and she pulled her worn jacket closer to her body. "get use to it." she said to hope saying also that the tempature never reached over 70 degrees their. gretchen then showed her ability to classify people which apparently she had done since she was in high school. " jocks" she pionted to a far right table which held 2 muscular guys arm wrestling gathered by short, blond pretty girls which hope interperted to be cheerleaders. "nerds" she pionted to a large computer sitting in the middle of a table surrounded by skinny, old looking people. artists. goths. punks. preps. gangsters. wanna be gangsters. she reeled this off like routine, then suddenly stopped and look straight forward. "whats wrong" hope asked worriedly. gretchen looked at her, suddenly noticing that hope had no idea about the awe displayed on her face. " the one person who matters most in your high school career" she pionted. hope followed her bony finger till she hit exactly to who gretchen was refering. hope gasped and held her breath. the girl stood at a good 5"9 height and looked like somehting out of books. she had long black hair that glissened in the sunlight. a perfectly round slender face. held up by an amazing body. her arms were pulsed with muscles, yet defined with beauty. her flat stomach showed off a 6 pack when the wind blew her white tshirt close to her body. she had legs that seemed to go for miles. "she has a 4.3 GPA, leads the nation in softball, basketball, and soccer. shes the richest person here, not to mention completly stunning. hopes eyes were caught upon this girl and only dropped when the girl saw hope and turned to see her. hope looked down and then to grecthen, "whats her name?". "devyn russell" gretchen said with a sigh. as hope saw devyn start toward her way she grabbed gratchen and walked quikly to her first class.

yes please go on that was good.
I want to cry but my pride won't let me.
What about the druggies?
Aren't there any speed freaks, acid trippers, stoners, drunks, sluts, and floaters at this school, or is everyone interested in something real? Good start, though, aside from the numerous grammatical errors.
:D
I love it!!! It's really great, so don't keep us waiting too long for the next chapter, lol.
Thanks for sharing it with us :)
