I know a lot of people are mad because of Bush winning this election...again. But i just want to say to a lot of you who are thinking about the M-ban that we don't need shit to prove that we love someone. We don't need legal documents to know that the person we are with is the love of our lives. All we need is our hearts and thats something that Bush or glb haters can take away from us.

yeah. But it still broke my heart when my girl and I cried in each others arms last night, and this morning, when we realized that we won't be allowed to get married. Ever since I was a little girl, i wanted to get married. 22 years I have been dreaming of it. And now it may never happen. No, I dont need a piece of paper to tell me that I love someone. But if somethign happens to her, I want to be in that hospital room with her. And if it was me, I'd want her right there. It's little stuff like that that pisses me off. She is my family...but I'm not allowed the basics that a man and woman bound in marriage are.

Why should gays be treated any different than straights. It is discrimination and it is wrong. Besides, a marriage liscence gives a lot of benifits to couples, such as visitation rights in a hosptial.
