Hey all... I made it to Australia! I've been here since the 2nd of August, and this last week we started classes. I think this semester's gonna be tough, but I'm determined to do well. I'm living in Fremantle, a little town of about 25,000 people next to the big city of Perth, which has a population of over a million.

Er..okay..onto other business. As I think I posted before I've been bemoaning the current state of my relationship. To put it simply, I've been letting the distance and lack of contact get to me. Well, I finally was able to call Alice (my gf) yesterday and I immediately found myself feeling better. I don't know if this is a good thing or not, but I'm going to hang in there... Alice just has this way of making me feel warm and fuzzy just by saying hi, lol. We'll see how this goes.

Um, I would write more, but I'm suddenly having trouble thinking of what to write (I blame the cold here in my lodge...we have no heat, and it always seems to be cold inside the building!) Plus, I should go do more homework.
