I don't know if I'd say it's "wrong," but it's a little weird, because you have one person who is almost through puberty, and another person who is just starting it - the age difference is only three years, but it's a big three years. If you had a 15-year-old and an 18-year-old, then it might be different, but I don't think that most 12-year-olds are ready for physical relationships.
