Out to Sister
I came out to my 15 yr old sister several hours ago. She'd been telling me some things, and she had used the phrase "dirty little secrets" earlier, and so when we started to walk home I said "speaking of dirty little secrets" and she made some comment, then I said "do you know I'm a lesbian?" and she said "HAH! I KNEW IT! That is so cool!" Or something along those lines. And then we talked about it.
I'm moving into the phase in my life where I am a real person, and being out is a huge and vital part of that. It's wonderful.

I came out to my little sister last month, it was great. I've been out to my friends for years, but I'm selective (read: chickenshit) with my family. At any rate, we're not talking about me. Congratulations! It's a great feeling, isn't it? It sounds like it went just about as well as you could ask for, which is great!
I'm moving into the phase in my life where I am a real person, and being out is a huge and vital part of that.

wow! it sounds like that went so well.....u must feel great! its so good hearing aout stories like ur where things have just gone so well...it really is great.....i hope one day wen i come out to my family they are as great as ur sister!
