I've got to admit it's getting better /
Getting better all the time.
Okay, so I stole that from Royal Philips Electronics of the Netherlands. But it still applies. I was asked to be part of my university's honors college (great for resumes), asked to be part of two nationally recognized honors societies (Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma, of which I am now a member), and I am going to be recognized for making the Dean's list here at IU. Yay me.
Can you believe what's happening in San Francisco? It's frickin fabulous! Finally people in homosexual relationships can get it recognized by the government. And what's even more beautiful about this is that if the court gives San Fran the green light, then that means that it eventually will challenge the Supreme Court to determine whether or not DOMA is constitutional. What an interesting time this is.
Two days ago my brother was in a car that was hit by a drunk driver, who then sped off only to be caught later. He's okay -- only a few bumps and bruises -- but the rest of the people in the car had to be taken to the hospital for a little more serious injuries, nothing too bad. Moral of this story is Don't drink and drive. Yeah yeah, it's sounds cliche, but if the driver had been going faster I could have lost my brother. It's scary how things like this happen to people close to you. It's even scarier how it has to happen to someone close to you to realize how much of a peril it poses.
Crosswords are fun. Later!

I think we've all been eagerly watching the developements in San Fransisco. Yay! its so nice to know that there are places more progressive than here. Glad to hear everyone in that car is ok.
**I'm willing to find out what impossible means**
my major
My major is geology. I find it überinteresting. I'm also thinking about double majoring in Spanish too, I still have to speak with the appropriate faculty members about that.
Jacqueline Saburido
About drunk driving... I read/saw something about a girl named Jacqueline Saburido. It's really horrible what happened. I think everyone should see what she has to live with. It could save someone's life. Be warned, though... it can be very graphic.
