I love my puppy

Hey everybody! How are you all doing? Fabulous.

I hope a great Thanksgiving was had by all those who had Thanksgiving. I certainly did. I got to see my 1 year old cousins; they're so cute. I got to see most of the rest of my family. I also got to see my precious puppy! Isn't she cuter than a button?!?! I came out to one of my aunts on Saturday. She called me today and told me that I have her support. That was nice of her. It's always nice to know that you have people, especially family members, who support you.

But I also have some bad news. I got pulled over for speeding. I was going 50 miles per hour in a 30 mph. Yes, I knew I was breaking the law, but the law was meant to protect people, and, there being no one who could be endangered by me, I felt the law was inapplicable there. I consider myself a victim of coincidence.

So now I have to go back up to my hometown where the "offense" occurred on the 15th of January for my court date. It's at 8.45 in the morning, too. This sucks for many reasons; allow me to enumerate them:

  1. School starts the 12th of January. As I am an hour and a half away from Carmel, I have to leave at 6.00. Keep in mind I'm a college student.

  2. My birthday falls on the 16th of January. My court date falls on the day before my birthday. How inauspicious.
  3. My parents said they'd be coming down to see me on my birthday. I hope it stays true that they'll see me on my birthday, because if they come down the day before my birthday, I'm in between a rock and a hard place.
  4. The bastard Carmel cop (Andy Gat for those of you who care) followed me for close to 200 yards before he decided to turn on his lights and pull me over.
  5. Usually on people's first offense, you get a warning. Not so in Carmel where all the cops have their billyclubs shoved so far up their ass.... And lastly,
  6. $150.

C'est la vie?

But I have caramel popcorn in a Spongebob Squarepants tin. It's great.

spongebob solves everything

a similar deal happened to me. i allegedly ran a stop sign, but i was actually 'inching up' cos it was a really really really wide road and i'd already stopped at the stopping bit but needed to see round the corner. i tried to tell that to the dumb local cop and he was all whatever. i swear they are bored and power crazy out in the suburbs.
$130. The fuckers. My mom knew, my best friend knew, and I couldn't tell my dad.
but u gotta love spongebob.
