I need to start reading books. I feel as if I'm advancing to illiteracy . I need a break from dullsville. I could use a little fish story. Any recommendations?
I'll agree heartily on "Density of Souls" and "Hitchhiker's" series.
"Annie on My Mind" by Nancy Garden, "like being killed" by Ellen Miller, just about anything by Rita Mae Brown, Terry Brooks, Susan Cooper, DIane Duane, "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Prachett...

Any Anne Rice book is good, bi vampires and action. good combo. Though she does have a few romance novels in there. then just some other novels im not familiar with.
What kind of book are you looking for? Theres alot of good ones out there...If you haven't read the Harry Potter series, that'll take up some time! =P If you want horror i recomend Stephen King. Or teen fantasy, Tamora Pierce. Idk. Then again you could always pick up a classic book, Frankenstein, Dr. Jeckyl & Mr. Hyde, or I also recommend Amelia Atwater-Rhodes (fiction)if you haven't read her works.
Contact me at ANY time about book sugestions; I love giving them. As for summer reading to get started, I'd say "Breakfast at Tiffany's" by Truman Capote is amazing! It's not too heavy, not too light, and a novella, so its pretty short. And it's a great, well writen story. No worries:)
