No, Adrian, the title is not a reference to you.
Wow. I've had a HELL of a week! First, Kairos. Great retreat. It was a genuinly spiritual, intense retreat. I'm usually too cynical and post-modern to be overly affected by such things as retreats, but it was truely life changing, and one of the best expiriences of my life. Seriously, I could rave about it for months! And I've really bonded with some of the guys in my class on an infinitly deeper level, plus there were massive amounts of hugs. It was great! If any of you have the chance to go on a Kairos retreat, or have any affiliation with a Jesuit institution, look into it.
Then, I came back, and it was tiring and depressing after the great retreat. I'm still uber busy, but now i have the emotional/spiritual fortitude to get through it all. THEN, theater night happened. My friend and I have been planning this student theater night, and it was REALLY disorganized. We did two of his pieces, one of mine, and an Albee one act. We only had selected lines memorized, and NO blocking, but it somehow came together. What am I saying? It came together because we worked our asses off after school! But then the moment came, and it KICKED ASS!! My play was a mild hit, and people really enjoyed it. Plus, I did well with my three parts, and pulled off Peter from "Zoo Story" better than I have in my life. Absurdist theater is great. It was a lovely evening. My life seems almost surreal now, since I'm off to a prom. I love you all! No worries:)
